Rooster Teeth Podcast Network Sold to Night Talent Agency

Night, the talent management company that represents YouTubers and Twitch Streamers, has acquired the Roost Podcast Network from Warner Bros. Discovery.

As part of the acquisition, Night will retain the majority of the podcast network team, including A.J. Feliciano, Head of The Roost Podcast Network. The network includes 47 original shows, with more than 350 million views and 20 million monthly audio downloads.

Popular shows include This Past Weekend with Theo Von, H3 Podcast (Ethan and Hila Klein), The Phil DeFranco Show and more.

The acquisition comes after Warner Bros. Discovery announced it was shutting down Rooster Teeth, owner of the Roost Podcast Network, in early March. At the time WBD said it would be shopping the podcast network and potentially additional IP such as Red vs Blue, RWBY and Gen:LOCK.

In addition to representing talent such as MrBeast, Night’s other segments include Night Labs, Night Studios, and Night Ventures.

“The Roost’s distinctive brand identity, loyal talent and partner network, and mission to be ‘the podcast network for creators’ align seamlessly with Night’s overarching strategy,” said Reed Duchscher, CEO and Founder of Night. “Night is committed to maintaining The Roost’s autonomy and integrity, ensuring it thrives independently within the Night family.”

“The team at The Roost is excited to join Night, a forward-thinking company that has long understood the potential of creators,” said A.J. Feliciano, Head of The Roost Podcast Network. “The future of podcasting sits at the heart of the creator economy, and this endeavor propels that vision.”
