Taylor Swift Wore the Quintessential LA Spring Uniform in a Rare Home Video With Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce haven’t hid from cameras since the singer first showed up to a Chiefs game on one fateful September evening, but they’ve mainly let paparazzi, fans, and jumbotrons capture their “Alchemy.” Now, Swift is sharing more intimate moments of her life with the NFL tight end for the sake of album promo.
On April 19, the 34-year-old pop star shared a “Fortnight” recap, challenging fans to post their own highlight reels from the last 14 days in honor of The Tortured Poets Department’s main single. The YouTube Shorts video—which Swift also shared to her Instagram Story following a link to the song’s music video—features a sweet kiss on the cheek from Kelce as Swift cooked in a black crop top, light-wash jeans, and a simple chain necklace. (Swift and Kelce have been spending a lot of time in California this spring, so it’s no surprise to see Swift in this standard LA uniform.)
The kiss wasn’t the only mark Kelce left on the video. In other snapshots, Swift could be seen sewing in a vintage University of Kansas sweater and showing off a pickleball ‘fit with a Kansas City Chiefs racket. Her lavender skirt, by the way, appears to be the Pirouette Skort by Popflex.
Swift and Kelce began dating in August 2023, following her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn and suspected summer situationship with 1975 frontman Matty Healy. Though both London Boys appear to have inspired the majority of The Tortured Poets Department, the 34-year-old football star had his moments on the album, including (but perhaps not limited to) the songs “The Alchemy” and “So High School.”
It seems like Swift hasn’t been “down bad crying at the gym” in at least eight months. “It’s so refreshing to see you with Trav,” one fan commented on Swift’s post, receiving over 5,000 likes. “Thank you for being so beautifully and unapologetically you. And feeling safe enough to release your most raw inner thoughts. We love and appreciate you so much, Taylor.”
