Samsung announced its new Snapdragon X-powered Galaxy Book4 Edge on Monday as part of its new collection of AI laptops. Comprising its collection of Windows on ARM laptops are 14- and 16-inch Galaxy Book4 Edge laptops, which the company says have been created to use AI. And if you want to get in on the ground floor with these PCs, you’re going to want to pre-order one now.
As of May 22, shoppers can reserve the Galaxy Book4 Edge through Best Buy or Samsung.com. (Both retailers throw in a free 50-inch Samsung 4K TV worth $379.99, though the former locks it behind a paid My Best Buy membership.) The 14-inch model starts at $1,349.99, while the 16-inch version starts at $1,449.99. It’s set to ship on June 18, so there’s just about a month left to wait if you’re ready to jump in and start using your new laptop as soon as possible.
Notably, these new computers come with a neural processing unit with 45 TOPS of power to assist with local AI tasks. They’ll be used for the new Windows 11 Copilot+ features as well as support for Samsung Galaxy AI.
Both computers have similar starting specs, with recycled plastic, glass, and aluminum shells in Sapphire Blue. The base models boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor (X1E-80 or X1E-84-100) with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU and 16GB of RAM. You also start with a 512GB SSD, a webcam, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and more all packed into a 2.6 to 3.4 pound chassis, depending on which screen size you go for.

The AMOLED touch display is a wonder at 2880 x 1800 resolution with a 120HZ variable refresh rate and up to 500 nits of brightness with HDR. Both screens, no matter which size you opt for, will look crisp and clear. Plus, expect the 14-inch laptop to start at 18 hours of battery per charge, with 22 for the 16-inch option.
Both options are available to snatch up right now, so if you want to be one of the first to try yours out, be sure to get your preorder in today.
