WOMEN WHO WIRE: GRITTY IN PINK DOMINATES NEW YORK TECH WEEK WITH SECOND ANNUAL INVESTHER ROUNDTABLES EVENT AT LIVE NATION HQ

New York, NY | June 2024 – Gritty In Pink made their mark during New York Tech Week with their second annual “InvestHer Roundtables: Women Who Wire” event on Tuesday, June 4, at the Live Nation NYC Headquarters. The event was presented by INPINK, ayana Foundation, and Stella Foundation and sponsored by Live Nation, Carta, Waterloo, Figlia, Liquid Death, Bareburger, Postmates, This Girl Walks Into a Bar, Johnnie Walker, AllRise Legal Counsel, Vinat, Chareau, STRUC, Leap year, Polaris Growth Studio, and ELSSUS.

INPINK, the ayana Foundation, the Stella Foundation, and Live Nation united various influential and underrepresented groups in the venture capital space, including founders, funders, executives, organizations, and more.

DJ Loá set the vibrant tone for the event with an energetic DJ set, as attendees had the opportunity to receive complimentary professional headshots courtesy of Gritty In Pink. Shira Yevin, the host and founder of Gritty In Pink, warmly welcomed a distinguished panel of female investors and VC industry leaders.

The event featured an impressive lineup of panelists and roundtable speakers, including: Tiffany Pham (Founder, Mogul & GP, Legacy Venture Capital), Gayatri Sarkar (Founder and CEO, Advaita Cap), Lynn Fernando (Co-Founder, ayana Foundation & CEO, REV Global), Kelly Ann Winget (Founder, Alternative Wealth Partners), La Keisha Landrum Pierre (Managing Director and Co-Founder, Emmeline Ventures), and Sarah Vinall (SVP, Media Strategy, iHeartMedia Ventures), Leslee Cohen (All Rise Legal Counsel), Claire Coder (Go Aunt Flow), Jennifer Kwan Mandelbaum (Halogen Ventures), Latia Vaughan, and Geri Stengel (Ventureneer and Journalist).

Following the panels, the guest speakers held individual one-on-one roundtable discussions with the attendees, sharing their insights on venture capital, investing, AI, and fundraising. During the mixer segment of the event, attendees enjoyed food provided by Bareburger.

Live Nation has invested in Gritty In Pink from the Live Nation Women Fund, a global, early-stage fund that Live Nation established to improve gender equality across the industry by investing in female-founded music businesses. Gritty In Pink is building INPINK, a global destination for hiring female freelancers, starting with the music industry. INPINK connects the music business with a diverse female creators and pros community.
