Thundercat, Toro Y Moi To Perform At 2024 Life Is Beautiful Block Party
Life Is Beautiful is back, and a new event brings a block party to downtown Las Vegas.
PMC and Rolling Stone’s Life is Beautiful: A Big Beautiful Block Party will hit the streets of Vegas on Friday (Sept. 27) and Saturday (Sept. 28) and will be headlined by Justice, LCD Soundsystem, and the internet’s favorite DJ, Peggy Gou. The dance party will also include performances by Jamie XX, Jungle, Kames Blake, Toro Y Moi, Thundercat, Badbadnotgood, and Neil Frances, with appearances from LP Giobbi, Empress Of, John Talabot, and Fifi.
The action kicks off at 5 PM PST on Friday, creeping into the wee hours of the morning at 2 AM PST on each festival day. Tickets for Life Is Beautiful: A Big Beautiful Block Party are set to go on sale Thursday (June 27) at 10 AM PST, with prices starting at $199 for a general admission ticket and increasing to $399 if fans want that VIP entry.
The festival released a statement regarding the new event and spoke to the fact that the original Life is Beautiful festival is on pause and that A Big Beautiful Block Party would provide a more intimate alternative in its absence.
“An intimate celebration in a new Downtown Las Vegas neighborhood awaits. Prepare to dance to every artist with lower ticket prices, no overlapping sets, and a short walk from favorite spots like the Arts District, Symphony Park, East Fremont, and the Fremont Street Experience,” the post read. “A decade ago, we set out on a mission to infuse our city with music, art, culture, connectivity, and a bold new perspective. What started as a small gathering transformed into an annual ritual that proves how powerful a community can be…our new event keeps alive the tradition of gathering in Downtown Las Vegas to uplift one another, to express ourselves, and to connect. Our Block Party isn’t a replacement – it’s an additional way to celebrate in the streets of our beloved city! In time, these two events will coexist.”
