Jedi: Survivor's New Port Hits The Charts, Despite The Xbox One Being 11 Years Old

We’re just about the approach the 11-year anniversary of the Xbox One’s launch, and we’re still getting games for it! In fact, EA just released a new version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for the console, and it seems to be selling pretty well.

How do we know? Well, looking at the “Top Paid” charts in the UK earlier today, we noticed that Survivor is on the first page – it’s actually in 90th place as things stand. In the US, it’s slightly further back in 129th place.

Here’s a look at the UK chart – keep in mind that the likes of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Resident Evil and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War were on sale recently, hence why they’re so high up in the list as things stand.

OK, that may not look or sound particularly impressive, but when you think of the sheer number of games on Xbox and how difficult it is for anything to reach the top 100, combined with the fact this is an Xbox One port of a game that was on Series X and Series S 18 months ago, we’re pretty impressed by how well the new version’s apparently selling so far!

For those who are still on the fence about whether to pick it up or not, you’re obviously going to get drawbacks on Xbox One compared to the current-gen versions, especially if you play on Xbox One S. The Xbox One X version is apparently much more solid though, boasting better image quality and a tighter 30FPS frame rate.

However you choose to play, one thing’s for sure – the Xbox One might be old, but it’s definitely not finished yet!
