Cam’ron Shares Financial Advice For Angel Reese Following WBNA Salary Remarks: “I Hope She Don’t Go Broke”

Cam’ron has some advice for Angel Reese after she disclosed her WNBA salary could barely pay her rent.

In the latest episode of It Is What It Is, the Harlem emcee addressed Reese’s comments and broke down the errors in her words. He asserted that he would take it easy on her because he likes Reese and wants to look out for the athlete. However, he still had some concerns, considering her remarks.

“That’s first you don’t know how much you make a year, let’s start there. Secondly, she says, ‘How much is my rent?’ So, you don’t know what your rent is… I hope she don’t go broke. Then they tell her what her rent is and she say, ‘$8,000?’ Now, let’s do the math.”

Cam proceeded to literally do the math live on his show with a Ma$e uncontrollably laughing at the situation. The New York City native then got serious with his approach, warning the Chicago Sky athlete sternly.

“I’m not gonna say things that I would usually say because I like Angel Reese and I think she is cute. But in all seriousness, make sure you stay on top of these financial advisors, the accountants… because they’ll steal your sh*t in the middle of the night,” he said. “I’m having fun a little bit, but seriously, stay on top of all that because you’re young, you’re pretty, and you have a lot going on outside of the WNBA… don’t take it for granted and think it’s gon’ last forever… Make sure you watch your money.”

Earlier in October, “the Windy City Barbie” opened up about her current finances. Angel Reese hopped on IG where she was transparent about how her WNBA salary doesn’t “pay one of my bills.” Reese joked that she’s “living above my means.”

“Hating pays them bills, baby. I just hope you know the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” Angel expressed. “I don’t even think that pays one of my bills. Literally, I’m trying to think of my rent for where I stay at. Let me do the math real quick. I don’t even know my [WNBA] salary. $74,000?”

“Babe, if y’all thought… That WNBA check don’t pay a thing. Did that even pay my car note?… I wouldn’t even be able to eat a sandwich with that. I wouldn’t even be able to eat. I wouldn’t be able to live,” she added.
