Although Ye has been linked to endless controversies in the past, his most recent rants on X over the last week have been deemed as his worst round of shared revelations yet. Following his appearance on the 2025 Grammys red carpet, the artist formerly known as Kanye West fired off a plethora of posts that included support for Sean “Diddy” Combs” and an unsavory tweet about the late Virgil Abloh. He also called himself a Nazi multiple times and even admitted to domestic abuse.
As a result, many celebrities are unfollowing the 808s & Heartbreak creator, as choosing to do so oftentimes is interpreted as a way to publicly rescind one’s support. Also, as of today (Feb. 10), Ye is not following anybody on X and is only following four people on Instagram: Bianca Censori, Justin Combs, Christian Combs, and Diddy.

Ye’s most recent public appearance was at the aforementioned Grammys event, but he did not step inside the award show itself. Instead, he made headlines because Censori rocked a nearly transparent dress with no undergarments, shocking many onlookers with the bold fashion choice.
Within one of his rants, he addressed the appearance. “I HAVE DOMINION OVER MY WIFE,” Ye posted on X on Friday morning (Feb. 7). “THIS AINT NO WOKE A** FEMINIST SH*T SHES WITH A BILLIONAIRE WHY WOULD SHE LISTEN TO ANY OF YOU DUMB A** BROKE B**HES.”
The 47-year-old also stated that although it was his wife’s choice to step out in the nude look, she wouldn’t have done it without his approval. “PEOPLE SAY THE RED CARPET LOOK WAS HER DECISION YES I DONT MAKE HER DO NOTHING SHE DOESNT WANT TO BUT SHE DEFINITELY WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL,” he continued to type. “YOU STUPID A WOKE PAWNS I HAVE NO RESPECT OR EMPATHY FOR ANY ONE LIVING CAUSE NO ONE LIVING CAN F*CK WITH ME BUT I DO LOVE SOME PEOPLE AND I GIVE THEM FAVOR.”

Frank Ocean

Kid Cudi

Music, had public feuds, and frequently left fans confused about where they stand with each other. More recently, West announced in 2022 that Cudi will not be featured on Vultures 2, only to release the previously “shelved” song titled “Gun To My Head” on the project anyway.
The collaborators have gone back and forth for years, but as of Q1 2025, Cudi is no longer following Ye on Instagram.

Tyler, The Creator
Image Credit: Steve Granitz/FilmMagic Tyler, The Creator has seemingly also had enough of the College Dropout artist’s antics. The CHROMAKOPIA rapper is no longer following Ye on social media. In 2015, Kanye appeared on Tyler’s Cherry Bomb album on the song “SMUCKERS” alongside Lil Wayne.
Last Friday (Feb. 7), the Kurrco X account shared a post announcing the unfollow, to which Ye responded, “GAY.”

Playboi Carti

Carti was featured twice on Vultures 1 (“FUK SUMN” and “CARNIVAL”) and once on Vultures 2 (“FIELD TRIP”), but is now not following Ye on social media.

Travis Scott

Scott also appeared on Vultures 1 on the track “FUK SUMN,” further solidifying how tight he was with the Chi-town emcee.
However, Kanye’s most recent rant seemed to have been the last straw, as Scott recently unfollowed his longtime inspiration on IG.

Elon Musk
Image Credit: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images Reports surfaced that Elon Musk unfollowed Kanye on X, and at first, many people thought it was due to the controversial statements the rapper/producer was making. The Telsa Inc. chairman was referenced several times throughout the rant, with Ye typing, “ELON STOLE MY NAZI SWAG AT THE INAGURATION.”
However, the “Ultralight Beam” artist insinuated that Musk was “forced” to unfollow him, and he thanked the businessman before bidding farewell to the social media platform. “I’m logging out of Twitter,” West wrote. “I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board.” It seems Ye’s followers will have a short break for now, but it’s only a matter of time before he’s back to get some more things off his chest.
